Well I have been and gone and done it no more talking now is the time for work. For years I have been talking about doing a PhD some day and it seems the talking is over and it is time to start. The question is where do I start. I have an idea, well it is more than an idea and after talking to my tutor I am in the process of refining it but I do find it a bit Scary!!
My thoughts are to investigate the level of IT capability at the end of Key Stage 3, and evaluate the degree of added value from Key Stage 2, together with an analysis of the pupils experience. I hope to establish and share best practice where the pupil's experience is full, exciting and enjoyable.
Well that is my thinking and I am excited about it and enthralled by it, but at the same time it feels more than a little daunting. I hope that everyone embarking on this form of research feels the same way at least that's what I keep telling myself. It is a subject I am passionate about, i just hope I can do it justice.
